The Trygve Take-Off Kit ("the Kit") is a construction quantity take-off and BOQ platform operated by Trygve Studio. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Kit, why we collect it, and what we do — and never do — with it.
Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, company name, and city. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address, and profile picture from Google — nothing else from your Google account.
Project data. The take-off data you enter — dimensions, schedules, rates, bills of quantities, purchase requests — is stored so it can sync across your devices and be shared with the team members you invite. This data belongs to you.
Technical data. If something breaks in your browser, we record the error message, the page it happened on, your browser type, and the app version, so we can fix it. We do not record what you type.
Account and project data is stored with Supabase (database hosted in Mumbai, India) and protected by row-level security: each company's data is isolated at the database level, and team members see only the projects their role allows. A working copy of your project data is also kept in your own browser's local storage so the Kit works offline.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not show advertising. We do not read your project data except when you ask us to help with a support issue. Your engineering numbers are your business, literally.
Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider; card and banking details go directly to them and are never stored on our systems.
The Kit uses browser local storage for your session and your working project data. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
